Corporate Summary
Enersave Control Optimization (ECO) is an Energy Management Company located in the Central Okanagan in Kelowna, BC. We provide in-depth system analysis for Commercial and Residential building systems to improve the operations of the energy envelope from the Building Automation System or recommendations for retrofits.

We plan to do this by completing ASHRAE Level 1 & 2 Audits for Commercial buildings and Energuide Energy Audits for residential homes. These audits will bring forward any deficiencies within the building envelope. Follow the links above for more information.
The goal of our company is to reduce the energy usage of buildings, thus improve operating costs and environmental impact. We want to do this in the lowest cost scenarios primarily or provide recommendations that have a deliberate payback for investment.

About Me
I've been working in the Energy Controls industry my entire career working at Oil & Gas facilities as a Facilities Operator (Power Engineer). I furthered my education with BCIT's Building Controls Energy Management course where I studied reducing buildings carbon footprint and energy usage. This class was excellent in teaching the basics of energy management through Building Automation System control and sequence optimization, innovation integration, auditing and baselining buildings energy usage as well as change management and life cycle cost analysis as excellent classes to expand my understanding of what it takes to make changes and the associated costs that need to be understood. I have furthered this education to receive the Certified Energy Auditor certification from CIET as to allow me to perform Commercial Energy Audits that is recognized by National Resources Canada. I then progressed to get my Certified Energy Advisor Designation from Natural Resources Canada and can perform an Energy Audit on Residential homes and model them to report your current energy usage and the impact of different energy efficient retrofits.
My past career experience entailed working hands on with equipment throughout the facility as well as working remotely operating the DCS (Distributed Control System). It has given me a three-dimensional understanding of what errors look like on a remote-control panel and what the problem might be in the field. Having this experience has given me an edge up with having an advanced understanding of what it takes to operate advanced control loops, how to optimize Control Systems, and how to troubleshoot problems and provide a practical response.
As a Energy Conservation Specialist, I’m committed to two main principles: providing the highest level of service as efficiently as I can, while giving Low cost / No cost energy solutions and provide feasibility insight to recommendations.
In short I plan to audit the building as an entire operating envelope and look for any abnormalities that can be optimized and easy energy savings measures can be executed, starting with the lowest cost modifications with the shortest payback period.
This will include adding to the sequence of operation, auditing the operation of the BAS, integrating new FDD software and smart building controls, and consulting the service plan of a facility.
